Those who reject Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS), aka. eternal security, would have you believe that:
You can be “born again” (John 3:3) again and again and again.
You can be spiritually circumcised (Col. 2:11) again and again and again.
You can become “one spirit” with Jesus (1 Cor. 6:17) again and again and again.
You can pluck yourself from God’s hand, which “no man” can do (John 10:28), again and again and again.
These are fools who do not understand their own salvation, and want you to believe you are spreading “doctrines of demons” (yes, I have been accused of this several times) for trusting what God’s word clearly says in context.
When you actually believe with your heart (not just vainly repeating some words) that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, and that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins and you ask Him to save you, you CANNOT lose your salvation.
You can still sin. You can backslide. You can live like the devil – but you shouldn’t – and still keep your salvation, just as the Prodigal son we learn about in Sunday school squandered his inheritance and woke up with the pigs, yet NEVER stopped being the father’s son.
OSAS is the truth according to the Bible. Rejecting it is foolishness. Falsely accusing the brethren of spreading a “doctrine of devils” for teaching OSAS, is downright wicked.
