The wisest man in all human history was still foolish enough to abandon God to please women.
Not only did Solomon have 1000 wives and concubines, but followed many of them into worshiping false gods.
This exemplifies 2 Cor 6:14 – do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
Had Solomon obeyed God, his greatness would have been even more than it was.
In the end, Solomon was just a man; a wretched sinner that needed God.
So much the more do I.
