Disappointing My Father

“O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:1-2‬

This is basically me every day. I know I disappoint my Father numerous times.

Every.

Single.

Day.

All I can do is beg for mercy. I can only ask that He not be angry with me. I plead that He be not displeased with me.

Then I am reminded that I am weak, but He gives me strength. When I stumble, He catches me. When I fall, He picks me up.

Despite my frailty, He has a seat for me at the table just as David had for Mephibosheth.

I am a child of the KING!

I know that my sins have been washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ and have been removed as far as the East is from the west!

Praise GOD for His love and mercy!

I cannot WAIT for that marriage supper with the Lamb.

I pray it comes quickly.
