“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.”
Psalms 37:23-24
When we are doing what we are supposed to – reading God’s word, fellowshipping with other Christians, praying without ceasing, etc. – we can rest happy knowing that our steps are ordered by God, even when it does not seem like it.
God has a path for us.
We get lost. We wander off track. We fall down.
None of that will stop the Lord from catching us before we are permanently damaged from a fall.
There have been so many times in my life where I have veered off course. God wraps His loving arms around me and set me right again.
Praise God for His ever enduring love and mercy!
