“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” – Philippians 1:21
This is the “win-win” situation for a Christian. When we live, we do so for Christ, but we gain even more when we die.
Verses 23 and 24 clarify further: “For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.”
During these days, many Christians are looking for the Rapture and Second Coming of the King, because heaven sure does look better than this earth that is falling apart.

However, we still have an opportunity to demonstrate Christ to those around us. Our lives still have meaning and purpose. We are ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, and we represent the Lord and Savior. That’s also pretty amazing and should not be taken for granted while we are still on this earth.
I pray that I continually keep that in mind while I await my heavenly mansion.
