Equity Through Salvation

“Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭98:9‬

This verse jumped out at me today because of the current political climate (of course, right?), but bear with me.

One of the things the Left is calling for is equity. This is a bait and switch from their previous goal of equality.

Equality means we all receive equal treatment. We all have equal opportunities, but because of “privilege,” some have unfair advantages at the start.

Equity is “fair.” It’s social justice. It is the goal of equal outcomes.

It is in this context that I find this verse fascinating.

“for he cometh to judge the earth”

This is an obvious reference to the “End Times” that are coming very soon.

“with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.”

God’s judgment is righteous, and righteousness is the standard for our judgment.

God will judge the world and the people with equity – not equality. It is the outcome that will make us equal in the end. It does not matter our advantages or disadvantages in life. It doesn’t matter our skin color, gender, country of origin, or socioeconomic status.

Did you, or did you not, accept Christ as Savior during this Church Age? That is the only criteria, and we will be judged righteously based on that decision.

Some of us had the privilege of being born into Christian homes, but all were given the opportunity to hear the gospel at some point – equality.

All of us will be judged in the end – equity.

No matter whether you had a head start in a Christian home, the precious blood of Christ makes you equal with all other Christians once you get saved.

Equity will never be achieved on this broken planet. It can only be fully realized through God’s righteous judgment.

Are you saved by grace today? The judgment is coming. You can either be equally saved or lost.

If you reject Christ, you will be cast into the Lake of Fire with Satan and all his wicked angels. No matter how “good” you think you are, you will find equity with Hitler and Nero.

You will burn. You will gnash your teeth. You will beg for a drop of water and never receive it.

The do not want that for you. I want to see you in a perfect place with streets of gold. A place where we all have our own mansion. A place where there is no more pain or sorrow.

Feel free to reach out to me in the comments or on social media if you’d like to know how to be saved today. I would not hesitate if I were you.
